Latest updates from the Tokyo Olympics 2020: After Mirabai Chanu won India’s first medal on the opening day of the Tokyo Games, now every Indian hope for a second medal has grown. Team India got off to a fantastic start on Day 6 of the tournament.

Rowing: After Arjun and Arvind’s rowing team ended 11th in the Olympics,

Badminton: Indian shuttler PV Sindhu defeated Mia Blichfeldt in straight games to advance to the quarterfinals.

Hockey: The Indian men’s hockey team put in a solid effort to defeat Argentina 3-0 and go to the quarterfinals.

Boxing: Satish Kumar, a boxer, won his first match to go to the quarterfinals.

Pistol shooting: Meanwhile, in the 25m women’s pistol qualification accuracy stage, Manu Bhaker finished 5th with a score of 292, and Rahi Sarnobat is 18th with a score of 287.

Boxing: In a Round of 16 matches, the boxer and India’s flagbearer Mary Kom will also compete.
