The upward surge of new infections of COVID-19 in India has recorded about 17,000 cases in 1 month. According to Health ministry data total cases have jumped from 1, 08, 26,075 to 1, 11, and 56,923.

President of India Mr. Ram Nath Kovind was the first person to take the COVID-19 vaccine at the Army’s Research and Referral Hospital in New Delhi on Wednesday. The president also urged all the eligible people to take the Covid-19 vaccine and get them vaccinated as soon as possible.

Prime Minister of India Shree Narendra Modi also took his Vaccine dose at All India Institute of Medical Science in New Delhi. He also took his Twitter to mention “the efforts of our doctors and scientists who have worked in rapid pace against the universal fight of COVID-19,” the Prime Minister tweeted after taking his first vaccine shot.
Notifications made by the center
From March 1st, everyone aged above 60 and those over 45 years with chronic health disorders are obligated to take the COVID-19 vaccines in government hospitals for free. The Centre made an announcement earlier. The center further added the private hospitals to charge Rs 250 per dose of the vaccine’s vaccine.
For booking the appointment of COVID-19, the citizens can register by using the COWIN 2.0 portal or through the Aarogya Setu app.
The center has further added the round-clock coronavirus vaccinations in the hospital with resources and capacity to fasten the inoculative drive.
