The nightingale of our nation is no more! Yes! The Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar left us with her great memories and melodic songs. But, unfortunately, she passed away on Sunday at the age of 92, that is 6th February in Mumbai at 8:12 am due to multi-organ failure, said the medical director of Breach Candy hospital. The legendary singer was known as the Nightingale of India, where she has sung around 1000 songs. We know nobody can take the place of her in our hearts; she was one in a million with her versatile voice.
She was a legend; no doubt, being a Bharat Ratna awardee, our PM Narendra Modi also visited her to give her last respect. Likewise, not only PM, but many prominent officers Bollywood celebs show respect to our Swar Kokila.

She was born on 28th September 1929 in Madhya Pradesh. Lata Mangeshkar was a great singer since her childhood, and music was in her blood as her father was himself a great musician. His father was Pmadit Deenanath Mangeshkar, a theatre actor, and a Marathi musician. Asha Bhosle, Usha Mangeshkar, Meena Khakdikar, and Hridayanath Mangeshkar had four siblings. She was a versatile singer because she also sang many songs in other film industries. She delivered iconic numbers that are still famous in this 21st century, and we are sure in the future.

Master Vinayak guided her after she moved to Mumbai, a filmmaker of the 1930s. She had a great relationship with Madan Mohan, with whom she shared some of the unique and memorable songs. Then In 2001, for her contribution to arts, she was honored by the Bharat Ratna, and then she was awarded Padma Bhusan and Padma Vibhushan.
Apart from these awards and singing, she was also credited as a great music director where she directed various songs such as Sadhi Manase, Mohityanchi, and so on. In addition, she sang multiple songs in multiple languages that made a versatile image.
