The eagerly anticipated movie “Leo,” directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring actor Vijay, has been under the spotlight due to a puzzling situation surrounding the film’s audio launch. On Tuesday, Seven Screen Studio, the film’s producer, finally put an end to the prevailing uncertainty concerning the audio launch by confirming its cancellation. The production company also made it clear that their decision had not been swayed by any form of “political pressure.”

In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), the producer conveyed, “In light of the overwhelming demand for passes and certain safety considerations, we have made the decision to forgo the Leo Audio Launch. In deference to the wishes of our fans, we promise to keep you informed with regular updates. P.S. Just to clarify, this choice has not been influenced by political pressure or any other factors.”

Clashing Claims Surrounding Leo’s Audio Launch and Release

Controversy swirls around the highly anticipated film, “Leo,” with political commentator Savukku Shankar recently alleging that the film’s audio launch, originally scheduled for later this month at the Nehru Indoor Auditorium, faced obstacles due to purported arm-twisting by the DMK family’s Red Giant regarding distribution rights in key regions. In a surprising twist, Seven Screen Studio, the film’s producer, vehemently refuted these claims, labeling them as mere rumors.

“Leo” boasts a star-studded ensemble cast, featuring luminaries such as Trisha, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Mysskin, and more. Fans can mark their calendars as the film is set to grace theaters on October 19, promising an exciting cinematic experience.
