The OnePlus Nord will soon be available for pre-order in India, OnePlus has revealed through its newly created Instagram account. The new OnePlus phone, which debuted later this month in India and Europe, went on limited pre-orders in the UK and other European markets. However, the company has not yet started its pre-order operation on the Indian market. However, a dedicated OnePlus Nord microsite was built on the Amazon India website. OnePlus co-founder and global head Carl Pei separately cited on Twitter the reason for naming the OnePlus Nord for his new smartphone.
Through Instagram Stories posted by the OnePlus Nord account, OnePlus revealed that it would soon bring the OnePlus Nord for pre-order in India. “To all our fans in India — you didn’t really think you were going to miss out on Nord pre-orders, did you? We’ll have more to say about this soon,” the company said on Instagram.
OnePlus hosted its first pre-order round for 100 units of the OnePlus Nord in the UK and selected European markets on Wednesday. According to the company report, the entire stock sold out in less than a second. The company currently has just microsite on Amazon India, however, for India, which works on the “Notify Me” button to provide customers with updates.
The pre-order details of OnePlus Nord India have not been announced yet. Meanwhile, on its official Twitter account, OnePlus co-founder and Global Head Carl Pei explained why the company is naming its new smartphone, The OnePlus Nord.
“It comes from the concept of true north,” said Pei. “We each have this inner compass that guides us. This product line reminds us to always search for our true north, and we hope it will keep reminding you of yours.”

The OnePlus Nord was initially rumored as the OnePlus 8 Lite and OnePlus Z. Still, last week the company accidentally announced its name in an Instagram post and officially unveiled it later. The new phone will fall under the expected price category of $ 500 (about Rs 37,800).
OnePlus Nord quad rear cameras up to 12GB RAM.
In terms of OnePlus Nord specifications, the OnePlus Nord will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC and will feature a dual selfie camera setup. It is believed to have a quad rear camera and up to 12 GB of RAM.
The Nord is expected to carry up to 12GB of RAM and quad camera with a 64GB primary shooter with Snapdragon 765G chipset. We have also discovered that the device will feature a dual punch-hole configuration with the primary 32MP and an 8MP snapper ultrawide. The Nord also mentions the packing of 30W Warp Charge.
OnePlus Nord will notably be the first smartphone models in India
The OnePlus Nord will be the first smartphone model to arrive in India and Europe in the newly produced “affordable smartphone line” of the company. OnePlus plans to expand the lineup to other markets in the future.

According to the Android Central survey, OnePlus Nord is expected to be launched in India on 10 July. The study also indicated that the smartphone would have a front-facing dual-camera system with a 32MP primary sensor and 8MP wide-angle sensor.
