Boxing updates- Pooja Rani of India faced Algeria’s Ichrak Chaib in the Round of 16 in the women’s boxing tournament. Deepika Kumari of India defeated Karma of Bhutan in the Round of 32 of the women’s solo event, advancing to the last 16.
Archery updates- Earlier, India’s Pravin Jadhav was eliminated from the men’s solo archery event after losing 0-6 against Brady Ellison of the United States in the last 16. In addition, Tarundeep Rai, an Indian archer, was knocked out of the men’s individual Round of 16 by Israel’s Itay Shanny 6-5.
